To
contribute to the development of a programme of social, educational and
developmental opportunities for young LGBT people
To
work with the young members to develop positive relationships leading to
effective participation in the groups activities and decision-making
To
promote equal opportunities in all aspects of the work
Participate
and support the running of an effective and engaging programme of meetings and
activities
Support
the full and active participation of members in all aspects of the group,
including one-to-one support
To
undertake any other such duties of a similar level of responsibility from time
to time as requested.
Ability
to make trusting and supportive relationships with young people
An
understanding of the issues facing young LGBT people
A
good team worker
Enjoy
activities
Group
work and team building skills
A
youth work qualification, preferably to a minimum of TAP 2 level or a
willingness to train to that level.
Identifies as LGBT themselves
